Fulfilment Center Innocence & the gamification of labor
2019 -

is a long-term effort to map the gamification of neoliberal labor, the instrumentalization of affect and necropolitics.
It all started by a personal experience working as an "essential worker" at a present-day factory at the port of Rotterdam.
Outcomes have been essays, interviews, video-essay, performance, feminist science fiction, among others, and more recently a PhD trajectory.

Feminist Readings of Industrial Architecture in so-called Mexico
2024 -

PhD Research

Curatorial Research Collective
Architecture History & Theory Faculty, TU Eindhoven

examines the role of industrial architecture in the production of necropolitical space in so-called Mexico from 1965 to the present. Focusing on the maquiladora industry and its extended architectures, it investigates how factories, industrial parks, border infrastructures, housing landscapes, and other spaces of extraction have shaped the spatial organization of violence under neoliberal capitalism. Drawing on Abya Yala feminist thought, the research combines architectural analysis with literature, film, and speculative fiction to examine how feminist movements and artistic practices have transformed these spaces into sites of resistance, mourning, and collective imagination. By tracing parallel genealogies of industrial development and working-class feminist resistance, the project argues that any history of capitalism cannot be told without the history of the feminist struggles that have confronted it.
